Welcome to the Alexander McNair Chapter, NSDAR, Monett, Missouri. We represent one of fifteen chapters in the Southwest District, Missouri State Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Chapter History

The Alexander McNair Chapter was organized December 4, 1985.  Since the first meeting, the aim of the chapter has been to remember our ancestors who sacrificed their way of life to make us a free nation.  The chapter gives Community Service Awards and participates in a local Flag Day celebration.   The chapter was named for Alexander McNair, the first Governor of the State of Missouri (1820-1824)
 
Meetings are held the second Saturday of the month at 1:30 p.m. September-June. Guests are welcome. For information regarding our meetings and programs, please contact us.

  Since its inception, the chapter has grown to over 40 members.
