(Pictures will change automatically.) We invite you to come out, visit our chapter, meet our Daughters, and "Catch the Glow" of education, patriotism, and historic preservation in the heart of America! The Blue Springs Chapter DAR, is located in Blue Springs, Missouri, just a few miles east of Independence, in eastern Jackson County, Missouri. The chapter meets the second Saturday of each month, September through June. For more information, contact Virginia Winters, Chapter Registrar Today’s DAR members are hard-working, active patriotic women who share
a passion for our rich American heritage,
bonded with a love of God, home, and country, which is the motto
of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. We
come from all walks of life: a variety of backgrounds and occupations.
Many of us have served or are currently serving in the armed forces.
We are professional women, homemakers, mothers and daughters who have a proven
bloodline to a Patriot ancestor who served or assisted the Patriots
during the American Revolution. For more information on the DAR
or membership eligibility, visit the National Daughters of the
American Revolution public web Visit the DAR Genealogical Research System, to determine if your ancestor is a recognized Revolutionary War patriot.
