| Thirty-two approved members of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution organized a Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, in the city of Marceline, state of Missouri, to be known as the Continental Congress Chapter on the 10th day of November, 1922.
Evalina Gilmore served as the first Regent. The thirty-two members and their successors and associates were declared to be a regularly organized Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution on December 31, 1923. All thirty-two members signed the charter, which has the seal of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, is signed by Lora Haiurs Cook, National President General. | |
