Michael Arnold, grandson of Liz Arnold, Continental Congress Chapter, was awarded the 2015 Nash Music Scholarship. The award will be presented to Michael at the Honors and Awards Luncheon at the MSSDAR State Conference April 11, 2015 at the Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel, St. Louis, MO. The award is for $1,500 and is renewable. Michael completed the application and submitted a video of his State Contest "I" rating solo. Michael is a studio student of Larry Bennett, Central Methodist University low brass professor and Aaron Thomas, Marceline High School band director. He plans on attending CMU in the fall of 2015 to pursue a Music Education degree.

June 17, 2014 Picnic at Marceline Country Club



Members of the Continent Congress Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution
got together at the Marceline lakeside shelter house for a picnic and to honor our vets.

Bucklin CHRISTMAS POLE COMPETITION

Nov. 7 VETERANS APPRECIATION

9-11 MEMORIAL FLAG DISPLAY



Ripley Square in downtown Marceline with 100+ flags displayed in honor of those who fell on September 11, 2001. Members of the Continental Congress Chapter of DAR placed the flags.
