Marceline Memorial Day Ceremony May 28, 2012



Chris Ankeney, representing the Continental Congress Chapter of the Daughters of the
American Revolution lays the Memorial Wreath at the Marceline American Legion —
VFW Memorial Ceremony.




Members of the  Continental  Congress  Chapter of the Daughters of the American
Revolution participating in the ceremony are LTR: Susie Johnson, Chris Ankeney,
Carole Kinnison and Joyce Sheerman.




Linda Haley, DAR member and also a member of Daughters of the Civil War,
laid a wreath for the Daughters of the Civil War.

Brookfield Civil War Memorial Rededication        
May 4, 2012        



Marceline's DAR, Brookfield's DAR, and Daughters of the Union Veterans
were asked to lay wreaths at the Re-Dedication and 100 Year Celebration
on May 4, 2012 at the Twin Parks Soldier's Monument at Brookfield. In the
picture is Gina Smith, DAR and DUV from Brookfield, Linda Haley, Marce-
line DAR and DUV, Sue Fosse and Carole Kinnison Marceline DAR.


Bucklin CHRISTMAS POLE COMPETITION



Members of the Continental Congress Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution traveled to Bucklin, MO to enter the town's Christmas Light Pole Decorating contest. Members participating were

Nov. 7 VETERANS APPRECIATION



Members of the Continent Congress Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met at Pioneer Healthcare Center to honor the veterans who reside at the center.   DAR members, back row LTR: Janean Faux, Linda Haley, Thelma Sartain, Carole Kinnison, Chris Ankeney, Joyce Sheerman and Susie Johnson.

9-11 MEMORIAL FLAG DISPLAY



Ripley Square in downtown Marceline with 100+ flags displayed in honor of those who fell on September 11, 2001. Members of the Continental Congress Chapter of DAR placed the flags.

in Ripley Square in downtown Marceline in honor of the fallen on
September 11, 2001.
