The mission of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism. Our motto is "God, Home and Country."
The Chalk Bluff Chapter was organized on October 10, 1986, with 13 members. Our members are dedicated to the following objectives of our National Society: to perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence; to develop and enlightened public opinion; and to foster true patriotism and love of country.
The chapter supports DAR Schools and various DAR Scholarships. Our chapter presents the DAR Good Citizens Award to area high school seniors to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The chapter also gives one DAR Good Citizens Scholarship award and an ROTC Medal at Malden High School. The chapter is the proud sponsor of the Missouri Bootheel Society C.A.R.
NSDAR membership is a unique opportunity to establish one's lineage and heritage as a descendant of a patriot of the American Revolution. Applicants interested in participating in the historical, educational, and patriotic activities of the NSDAR are welcome. The DAR national web site has information about membership eligibility, and how to find your patriot ancestor. Our chapter welcomes new members; please get in touch with us for more information.
Chapter patriots are the ancestors of members of the Chalk Bluff Chapter. The patriot's service has been accepted by NSDAR. Each patriot name is followed by the state(s) where service occurred.
