The Carl Neiman Chapter is part of the Missouri State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Founded in 1894 in Kansas City, the group has over 5500 members in chapters throughout the state. Roslyn Heights, a Queen Anne Style mansion over 100 years old, is the Missouri State Headquarters. It is located at 821 Main St. in Boonville, Mo.
Carl Neiman Chapter actively works to promote the following objects of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution: Historical - to perpetuate the memory and spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence.
Our chapter is very active in local activities. We work with the Veterans groups, the Chamber of Commerce, churches, and schools. We are also very proud to have been officially recognized by the US Department of Defense 50th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration Committee as a "Commemoration Partner." |
