Among the Elizabeth Carey Chapter Daughters attending the 111th Missouri DAR State Conference held
at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, Jefferson City, Missouri, were: Betty Garton, Carol Hackney, Rosemary Noel, and Frances Jenkins.
Throughout our chapter's history, we have been devoted to community service. Chapter activities through
the years have been many and varied. We have a history of actively promoting the yourth activities of the DAR. Several times our chapter
has proudly sponsored state American History essay winners and DAR Good Citizen winners. Members also participate in state events
including the Flag Day celebration at Roslyn Heights, the Missouri State DAR Headquarters in Boonville, Missouri, the Roslyn Heights
Christmas celebration, and the MSSDAR State Convention. Honorary State Regent Karen Bradley is a member of Elizabeth Carey Chapter.
