Our Chapter

Welcome to the official site of the Louisiana Purchase Chapter DAR. We are a women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving our nation's history, and supporting educational endeavors. Our members are talented and caring women who value our nation's history, and wish to honor our American Revolutionary War ancestors. As you navigate our site, you will discover the history and activities of our chapter. We hope you enjoy learning about our chapter and the DAR.

We welcome new members! For membership eligibility, please visit our membership page. Please contact us if you are interested in DAR membership and would like to attend one of our meetings. Chapter meetings are usually held on the second Saturday of each month, September through May.
