Membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a unique opportunity to establish one's lineage and heritage as a descendant of a patriot of the American Revolution. When you know you and your family are a part of history, it becomes alive and personal.
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal, blood line descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. DAR Junior members, age 18 through 35, are a special group within DAR. They enjoy full membership privileges and the opportunity to take part in their own projects and services. Our Junior members are committed to supporting DAR schools. A patriot of the American Revolution is defined by DAR as a person who served in the military or civil service or a person who provided service or support to the cause. A detailed list of qualifying service can be found on the National DAR site at Eligibility. For any questions about membership requirements or for lineage assistance please contact us. |
