Platte City Mayor Dave Brooks, left, accepts an American Flag from Regina Davenport at the Platte Purchase Chapter DAR meeting on June 19, 2004.

This flag was flown by Mrs. Davenport’s daughter, Captain Tamra J. Scheiblhofer, over the city of Baghdad, Iraq, on April 22, 2003, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Capt. Scheiblhofer, a C-130 Hercules pilot with the 180th Airlift Squadron, Missouri Air National Guard, is a junior member of Platte Purchase Chapter.

The chapter's donation was in honor of Capt. Tamra J. Scheiblhofer’s patriotic service to our country. It is on display in the Platte City, Missouri, City Hall building.
