Bill and Patti talked about DNA testing that can be done through the National Geographic Genographic Society and also about testing through Ancestry.com. This testing can give a person information about where his or her family originated ten thousand years ago and show the route of emigration taken by the family. It is believed that humanity originated in Africa and moved eastward into the Middle East and Asia. Later, people moved into North America across the Alaska land bridge.
