96 Years of Community Service
Webster Groves Chapter received the "Outstanding Chapter of the Year" award from the Missouri State Society DAR in 2002, 2005, and 2006.
Organized in 1913, the Webster Groves Chapter has served our community for 96 years. We are located in historic Webster Groves, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.
Our chapter works with local schools to support Junior ROTC, DAR Scholarship contests, American History essay contests, and DAR Good Citizens awards. We sponsor community commemorative events, and recognize outstanding community volunteers. Our chapter has placed approximately 50 historical markers in the St. Louis area. We support local veterans homes, along with those currently serving in the military at home and abroad.
Our Special Project

Since September 2003, Webster Groves Chapter has sent a monthly 45-pound package to the United States Central Command - Air Forces in Qatar, where approximately 4,000 American airmen are stationed. Jack’s Café, operated by the chaplains, is a tent set up to give soldiers a place to relax, enjoy a good cup of coffee, eat cookies, and read books, to remind them of home. Jack’s Café serves 1,200 cups of coffee each day to American, British, and Australian troops. Chapter packages have included coffee, home-baked cookies, holiday items, puzzles, books, and American Spirit magazine.
